Order of Malta seeking volunteers

The Order of Malta in Mullingar is hosting a volunteer recruitment evening on Wednesday January 29 in the St Mary’s Day Care Centre at 8.30pm.

The organisation is looking for individuals who have an interest in making a difference in the community, and offering their spare time to provide first aid at community events such as concerts and sporting events.

Volunteers do not need to have any previous First Aid experience as full training will be provided.

However, the organisation is also hoping the volunteers will include some practitioners who are registered with the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council as advanced paramedics, paramedics and emergency medical technicians.

Also being sought are auxiliary drivers aged over 25 with a full Category B licence.
