McAleese discovers Seven Wonders of Fore

All Walks Of Life is the new RTÉ series featuring former President Mary McAleese.

She brings a diverse selection of people from All Walks of Life on spiritual journeys along some of Ireland's ancient pilgrim trails.

One of those was Fine Gael politician Helen McEntee who she accompanied along St Fechin's Way in Fore.

The programme touches on the Seven Wonders of Fore, the 2,000 students and 1,000 monks that would have situated inn the Monastery which was founded in the 7th Century.

It features locals like PJ O'Reilly who talks about St Fechin's Bell, or the Lough Lene Bell, a replica of which is rung in the Dáil by the Ceann Comhairle.
