Warming up for the Line Dancing at Shay Murtagh were Laura and Lucy Fitzpatrick from Collinstown, Mary Morns from Collinstown and Dympna Hand from Dromore

VIDEO: Hats off to the 'Hard hats instead of Stetsons' crew!

The moment the line dancers who turned up at Shay Murtagh Precast at Raharney on Saturday have been waiting for has arrived: they're up on You Tube (see the video below)!

Around 100 members of staff, and locals took part in the "Hard Hats Instead of Stetsons" event, which they hope will raise awareness - and raise funds for - the the St Vincent de Paul office in Killucan.

"It was tremendous," says Gillian Murtagh of Shay Murtagh Precast, a firm which is one of the largest employers in North Westmeath, with a staff of over 200, supplying mainly into the UK.

And she let us in on a secret: there may already be something similar - but bigger - in the pipeline (bad pun that!) for next year!
