Mullingar Hospital one of the most overcrowded today
The Midland Regional Hospital is one of the highest for numbers on trolleys today, Monday, June 11.
A total of 30 patients have been recorded by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) as having no access to a bed, 20 of them situated in the Emergency Department, while ten patients are on trolleys across wards in Mullingar.
Other hospitals with high numbers of overcrowding include University Hospital Limerick which has 49 patients on trolleys, and University Hospital Galway which has 39.
