Mary Keenan, who owns the gardens and nursery gave the group a very homely welcome and an extremely informative talk on all garden topics, followed by a wonderful tour of her gardens. The group then had a picnic in the garden and some members then adjourned to a very unusual shop in Mountrath called Anything Goes for some retail therapy. The group stopped in the Wolf Trap in Tullamore on the way home for a meal. Altogether it was a very enjoyable outing.
