It is a testament to the founding members many now unfortunately deceased, that not only is the club still in existence but that it continues to flourish.Throughout 2008 much success came our way, the club clay-shooting grounds continues to grow, and now is one of the most successful grounds in the midlands. The club development projects achieved its arms. and two of our members make history by been elected on to the National Association Regional Game Council executive committee.Unfortunately on the 9th of November last the club lost one of its loyal members with the death of Raymond Murphy. Raymond was a life-long member of the club, and was always willing to help out; his death will be a great loss to the club for a long time to come. May he rest in peace. On this Saturday night 13th December the club members and friends will celebrate the club achievements with a special Christmas Party in the Cornmill Pub Boherquill. The night will get under way with a four course steak dinner at 9pm followed by music etc. The National Chairman, Treasurer. Safety Officer, Administrator, and a number of other members of the National Executive will be in attendance. Please note that admission to the dinner is by ticket only. The club wishes to thank Martin Fagan Wine Agent , Lisryan who has kindly donated the wine for the dinner, so we are looking forward to meeting all our members and friends on Saturday night for what promise to be a good night.
