Columb Barracks to Belvedere Fun Run
It"s getting closer to the 8K Fun Run, or walk, in aid of the Stroke Unit at the Regional Hospital Mullingar, which takes place on Saturday, February 28.In association with the 4 Fd Arty Regt, RSM Noel O"Callaghan says the road race is open to everyone, including families, males and females, and groups from work or resident associations.It is all in the name of creating awareness and raising funds for stroke equipment at the hospital in Mullingar, while also promoting local tourism and scenic areas out by the lakes of Mullingar.'In this time of doom and gloom hanging over our country, this is a good excuse to get people out and take part in a short but worthy exercise of community support for the Stroke Unit and local tourism,' said Noel O"Callaghan, who added that 'Even if the weather is not great on the day, dig deep and still turn out and join us.'There will be individual prizes and a certificates of completion for everyone who crosses the finishing line, as well as team and family prizes.If you would like to enter, you can contact BS Tommy Owens on 044 9348392, Sgt.
