Ballymore Notes
Westmeath Rural Transport - As part of the recently published An Board Snip Nua report it has been recommended that the rural transport scheme should be axed.If this were to proceed it would have a significant impact on people living in villages and from isolated areas who rely so heavily on the service.Since its launch the service has been a huge success and has helped bring back some independence to people living in the parish and to over 46,000 people from across Westmeath who have become so dependent on it. Please don't let this happen.LottoThe following are the lotto results from last week. The jackpot was €2,300. Numbers drawn were 11, 13, 15 and 19. In truth Ballymore have been better than the results show but that counts for nothing if they lose on Sunday so if ever there was an occasion to come out an give your support to the lads this is it.Thrown in is at 6pm, come on lads!Junior B ChampionshipThe next match is against Moate on Tuesday 18th August at 7pm.200 ClubThat latest 200 club draw took place last Sunday evening in Cunningham's.
