Billy Mac Mega Concert returns

It's that time of year again: the Billy Mac annual Mega Concert in aid of the Mullingar branch of the Carers' Association.This hugely popular event is now in its fifth year, and the extravaganza, featuring a long list of local musicians, takes place in the Greville Arms Hotel, Mullingar on Tuesday, August 25 and tickets are now available.Simon Casey, Ray Lynam, Paschal Brennan, Matt Leavey, Mick Foster, Ollie Kennedy, Moyra Frazer, Laura Mulligan, The Swarbriggs and the Times Showband, Ben Dolan, Joe O'Hehir, Ray Dolan, Camillus Egerton, the Boys from the Black Stuff, The Legends and Greg Traynor as Elvis are just some of the acts appearing on the night.Music will be provided by the Vinny Baker Tennessee Breakdown Band and MC on the night will be none other than the great Noel O'Farrell.Doors open at 7.30 and the show starts at 8 o'clock sharp.The Carers' Association is the national voluntary organisation of Family Carers in the home. Founded in 1987, the Association represents Family Carers and advocates greater awareness and support for their work.Thousands of Family Carers care at home for a person with a severe disability, who is fail in old age or terminally ill.
