Council buildings damaged

Gardaí at Mullingar are following a definite line of enquiry after extensive damage was caused to County Council property at the new Civic Offices in Mullingar on Sunday afternoon last.Security gates to the Council carpark were badly damaged, while flowerpots and trees were all overturned.The windows of the Coucil's litter patrol van were all smashed and there was an attempt made to break windows in the Civic Offices.
