CK were quickly out of the blocks and could have had two goals to the good after 10 minutes as David Ledwith and James Sheerin both went close. So it was no surprise when CK made the breakthrough after 13 minutes following a lovely flowing move with Sean Pidgeon making a fantastic run and killer ball that Sheerin made no mistake with a tidy finish.Against the run of play Rosenallis levelled from a soft free kick, good delivery and near post header. The side went in at half-time level but CK were well on top in general play. The second half was a more even affair with both sides not giving an inch and the CK defence well on top, then in the 73rd minute CK worked the ball into Rosenallis territory and when the ball broke, Boo Marshall let fly with a screamer from 35 yards out that hit both posts before nestling behind the goal line. CK Utd went on to see out the game with a few nervy moments but a valuable 3 points won and top of the CCFL Division 1 table.CK Team: Paul D'Wall, Damien Bracken, Keith Higgins, Declan Nannery, Damo Carlos, Sean Pidgeon, David Marshall (captain), Anthony Dinegan, Kevin Smith, David Ledwith, James Sheeran.
