The 2009 Westmeath Examiner Sport Stars of the Year Awards, in association with the Mullingar Park Hotel, took place in the Mullingar Park Hotel on Friday 5th February 2010. The award ceremony was compered by RTÉ presenter and sports pundit Colm Murray, who added some of his well-known flair and fun to the proceedings.
The Westmeath Examiner has prided itself on its central role in promoting local sport for more than a century and is proud, also of the recognition it has received on many occasions in so doing.
