Performing Arts Training School

The Irish Board of Speech, Drama and Acting is setting up a Training School in Mullingar, in the newly extended performing arts studios on the Dublin Road, Mullingar.The Irish Board of Acting will offer independent progressive and quality courses in expressive arts, such as a Certificate and Diploma in Acting; a qualification in Musical Theatre; qualifications in speech and drama teaching. A new Performing Arts School will be available on Sundays - so teenagers why not consider film making - singing/voice training - drama/acting and dance.Students taking Art or Music for exams can avail of extra tuition and voice training, or art portfolio preparation. These courses may also be of interest to post-leaving students awaiting a college place, or students on a gap year.Adults are also welcome, whether to reawaken an interest in the arts and get a qualification or to upskill and bring fresh ideas to their work.The premises boasts dance, art photographic and music studios, and drama/acting space.
