Edenderry band Revolver who will play the Stables on August 27 with Mullingar band Redcub as support.

Revolver are playing The Stables in Mullingar in Friday August 27 to promote the release of their album ‘Hypnotic’ along with Mullingar band Redcub.Revolver, an Indie Rock outfit from Edenderry who claim influences such as Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Jam, Radiohead, Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine were formed in 2009 and are made up of Jay Cummins on vocals and keyboards, Emmet aka The Kid on lead guitar, Jamie Ryan on bass guitar and Brian (who didn’t like to divulge his surname) on drums.“Revolver are an alternative rock band who want to bring a rock and roll vibe to this generation,” is the band’s mission statement.Revolver are currently in the process of signing a record deal which would see them starting a European tour just before Christmas this year.Their first single ‘Relentless’ was released on February this year and went to number 2 in the downloadmusic.ie charts.Their second single ‘Feed your Addiction’ was released in April and also went to number 2 in the down load charts.The third single ‘Invaders (of the Truth)’ was released last month and their debut album ‘Hypnotic’ is out now. The final single from this album, ‘Memories Remain’ will out late 2010.Revolver got their first plug on BasementSound online UK radio station.
