Portrait artist David Dunne to feature in new expo

Works by Mullingar portrait artist David Dunne, who was featured earlier this year in the Westmeath Examiner, are now on display in the Atrium of Westmeath County Council buildings in Mullingar.Some of the art work from his first solo exhibition ‘Icons’ which took place in Dublin’s ‘Bad Art Gallery’ will be on display, as well as some new material.The self-taught artist has been painting in oil since 2008, using acrylics before that, and his medium is predominantly through black and white, capturing world famous faces from film through to sport and music.David’s work will be on display at the Atrium for the next two months.
