Shootin' straight!

Members of the 4 Fd Arty Regt, who changed station with the move from Columb Barracks in Mullingar to Custume Barracks in Athlone, were at Carnagh Military Range yesterday.The members of the Regimental Shooting Team, under coaches Regt Sgt Major Noel O'Callaghan and Sgt Garry Madden, were training in weapon handling and marksmanship skills.The 4 FAR hold the record of eight wins in the Falling Plates competition in Defence Forces Shooting, and regardless of location, the members of the 4FAR are committed to maintaining the continuity and high standards of the tradition of shooting that goes back to the mid-70s.
