Niall backs Irish Autism Action and TEAM

Irish Autism Action (IAA) has announced that One Direction Star Niall Horan has agreed to host two separate charity events on his birthday, September 13.All proceeds will go to IAA and TEAM (Temporary Emergency Accommodation Mullingar). Both events have been sponsored by Xtra-vision. The first event, a golf classic, will be hosted by Niall, at Mullingar Golf Club. Teams of four for the golf event will cost €800 and are available for sale by emailing philip@autismireland.ie or by calling 044 9331609.The second event will be hosted by Niall Horan and Keith Duffy at the Mullingar Park Hotel at 8pm. Guests will be able to enjoy great food and entertainment and will have the opportunity to enter an exclusive raffle to win two meet and greet VIP tickets for the next One Direction tour.The event will be attended by a number of Niall and Keith's celebrity friends and tickets cost from €75. Tickets are limited and will be available for sale on www.Pigsback.com from 2pm on August 31. IAA sees as one of its primary objectives to increase the awareness and understanding of the needs of families affected by autism.About TeamTemporary Emergency Accommodation Mullingar (TEAM) was set up to provided support for homeless people in the Midlands area. TEAM's homeless residential hostel, Teach Fáilte, catering for women and children is located in Mullingar and consists of eleven units for residential use. Teach Fáilte offers comfort, security, respect and dignity to women in an emergency homeless situation. Currently TEAM which is a registered charity and operating on a 24/7 basis, is experiencing financial difficulties and relies on regular fund-raising activities and voluntary donations to continue with its important work.
