Barracks meeting

Willie Penrose TD speaking at a public meeting in The Greville Arms Hotel last night, which heard calls for the government to find an alternative use for Columb Barracks in Mullingar.Deputy Willie Penrose suggested that the barracks would be an ideal location for an international language school that could bring potential millions to the local economy.Deputy Penrose also said that he would "try and open as many doors" as he could and that the Department of Defence "owes us something".
