Westmeath Pub League Pool Championship
The new Westmeath Pub League Pool Championship will get going later this month or early November, in the following regions: Athlone Area Pub League (West), Mullingar Area Pub League (Central), Castlepollard Area Pub League (North) and Kinnegad Area Pub League (East).All entrants will be put in league groups in the particular region, each group in a region will be localised. Pubs dont necessarily have to be in Westmeath but should be within 10 miles of the border.All teams that enter will be drawn into one or more league groups depending on entry level where matches are then played home and away every tuesday from 9pm.A team consists of 5 players and up to 5 subs can be used for the duration of the competition.Entry fee is â¬130 (â¬30 admin) with â¬20 less for a second or third team.Pubs must have two usable pool tables in order to enter a third team.Closing date for entries is Monday October 15 with play to commence two weeks later.
