Bressie to star in hit Sky TV series Moone Boy

Mullingar musician Niall Breslin, aka Bressie, will make his acting debut when he joins the cast of Chris O'Dowd's hugely successful Moone Boy.He has been cast alongside Amy Huberman who will play the role of an art teacher, while Bressie will strut his stuff in front of the camera in the role of a gym teacher.Both are believed to be currently shooting scenes for the second series in Wicklow town until this Friday.Meanwhile tonight, episode two of The Gathering - Homeward Bound airs on RTÉ One at 7pm, and sees Bressie return home from London to discuss ideas for The Gathering 2013.The majority of the programme which was filmed in Áras an Mhuilinn, shows him meeting up with friends and acquaintances, and also taking a trip down memory lane to Mullingar Rugby Club.The Gathering - Homeward Bound is also available to audiences worldwide on the RTÉ Player www.rte.ie/player.
