Rosemount woman's documentary to air on TG4

A documentary produced by a Rosemount native is to be broadcast on TG4 this Saturday November 24 at 9.20pm.AnnaMay Mullins, nee O'Connor, grew up in Rosemount and was brought up in a GAA-mad house, however it was the turf that she turned to as an adult.Having worked in the fashion business as a model and also compering fashion shows, AnnaMay has always had a passion for racing, and as well as producing this latest documentary, Punchestown - seeing out the distance, she has among her credits the writing and presenting of another documentary, Horse racing syndicates - it could be you.Her latest one gives an insight into the unique Punchestown Racing Festival. Revolving around the 2011 festival, it contains footage from several races and a guided tour of the famous LaTouche Banks Course. There are interviews with owners, trainers and jockeys, from Ireland and the UK. Also included are visits to Willie Mullins' and Jim Dreaper's training yards. Not to mention the fashion, style, celebrities and pundits."We feel the public is really going to enjoy Seeing Out The Distance on TG4. The programme gives a wonderful insight into the festival and captures beautifully the tradition and excitement of the Punchestown Festival.
