Westmeath named unchanged side for Orchard clash

Westmeath manager Pat Flanagan has named an unchanged side for the third match in a row as his charges look to clinch promotion to Division 1 with a home victory over Armagh on Sunday.

The Maroons only need a point to be assured of top flight football next season but after their table topping exploits since Christmas will be confident of overcoming the challenge of the men from The Orchard County.

Speaking to the Examiner this week, Flanagan said that it would a big boost to his team if there was a large attendance at the match.

"This team is putting in a huge effort from 1 to 30 and I think they deserve the backing of the supporters.

"I know things are tough, but at the end of the day these guys are putting everything on the line to achieve something, and it will give the county a huge lift if we can do so," he said.

Throw in at Cusack Park on Sunday is at 2pm.
