What's new in the Westmeath Examiner

Today is the first day of a ‘new’ Westmeath Examiner as your favourite newspaper is now in the shops every Tuesday, and we would like to thank our regular readers, as well as welcome new ones with some new features – and a free fuel competition (see page 4 of this week's paper).

The features include our new ‘My...’ theme. This week we have My Memories, My Fashion and My Springtime, but it could be My anything – My Pet, My Holidays, My Family – whatever you would like.

Backchat is back too! This week it’s on page 24 and it includes A Quirky History of... and The Bachelor, the man who knows what’s what around Mullingar and Westmeath!

In sport, alongside the usual extensive coverage, we have The Club of the Week feature; in Westmeath Examiner Fit, we have huge photo coverage and finishers’ times from the many popular 5k and 10k runs in the area; and in the Social Scene, we have photos from parties, fashion shows, dinner dances, shave or dyes and all kinds of other fun events.
