Savage Eye star performs in Mullingar
The Savage Eye’s John Colleary tops the bill at next Saturday night’s (July 13) Comedy Night in Mullingar RFC's clubhouse.
In recent years, Sligo native Colleary has established himself as one of the most popular Irish comedians on the circuit thanks in no small part to his appearances on the critical acclaimed RTE shows The Savage Eye, which is a co-writer on, and Halls Pictorial Weekly. He was also a writer/performer on the Last Orders slot on Matt Cooper’s show on Today FM.
Despite his TV appearances, Colleary is first and foremost one of Ireland’s best stand ups and his self effacing, informal style is sure to go down well with local comedy fans.
Also appearing on the bill on Saturday night is Robbie Bonham. A regular performer at the Laughter Lounge in his native Dublin, Bonham has also appeared on the Comedy Central hit show, The World Stands Up.
MC on the night will be comedian Simon O’Keefe. The show starts at 8.30pm with tickets €10. For more information or tickets call James on 087-6385877 or Charlie on 086-8394788
