Ashley's EP makes the top 30
MULLINGAR’S youngest rising talent, eleven-year-old Ashley Tubridy, is celebrating this week, the success of her debut EP From The Outside In.
The youngster has shot to fame since her touching performance on The Late Late Toy Show in 2011, singing her own song Friends Forever and has performed alongside the likes of Bressie and One Direction’s Niall Horan.
The EP contains four songs, all written and sung by the young star. It has climbed the IRMA singles chart following its release last month. It is currently sitting pretty inside the top thirty at number twenty-nine.
The writing on the back of the CD does away with most of the formalities of the music industry and displays a very personal and heart-warming letter of thanks to all those who helped her on her way to stardom saying:
“I couldn’t have done it without the support of you guys either. I really appreciate all of you coming on this journey with me”.
There is no doubt we will see more of this promising young talent in the future.
