“I am indeed a very proud father,” he told the Westmeath Examiner. “I admire Jane’s work ethic and her commitment. She is extremely dedicated in all she does and it’s fantastic that she’s been nominated for an award like this at such a young age.”
The Mullingar based company is going from strength to strength, now employing 65 staff, some of which are employed at their HQ in Mullingar Enterprise Park.
The Irish INGLOT business is owned, and operated, by mum Geraldine Swarbrigg and daughter Jane, who first brought the exciting global brand to the Irish marketplace in 2009.
With almost 5000 stores worldwide Inglot is one of the biggest cosmetics companies in the world.
Now in its seventh year, the IMAGE Businesswomen of the Year Awards aim to recognise the inspirational Irish women who continue to shine in the Irish business world, regardless of economic climate or the challenges they face.
The first INGLOT store opened in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin, and, with a rapidly growing fan base for the innovative make-up range, new stores quickly followed in Dundrum Town Centre, Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, and in the Jervis Shopping Centre in the city, as well as the Crescent Shopping Centre in Limerick city.
