Westmeath GAA land Renault as new main sponsor
Westmeath GAA have announced that Renault is to sponsor their inter-county football and hurling teams for the next three years.
The deal has been brokered through Mullingar-based Renault dealers O’Brien’s, which is owned by Tyrrellspass man Paddy O’Brien.
The French car manufacturers replace the Annebrook Hotel, who were Westmeath GAA’s main sponsor for the past two years.
The new sponsorship means Westmeath will have a new jersey in time for the start of the Allianz Leagues in February.
A brief statement from the Westmeath County Board read: “Renault announced as new Westmeath GAA sponsors in significant deal for the county for a three-year duration.”
