Niall one of 30 under 30

Mullingar’s Niall Horan has been included in Forbes magazine’s ‘30 under 30 list’ for 2014.

Just over three years after Niall and his One Direction band mates finished third in the 2010 instalment of X Factor, their star continues to rise in the music world.

The year 2013 was the quintet’s most successful year to date with a number one album across the world, sell out world tour and a hit film. The band also became the first group to go to number one in the American Billboard charts with their first three albums.

With another new album due and a world tour starting this spring, 2014 is set to be another year to remember for Niall and co.

The influential business magazine’s annual ‘30 under 30’ highlights young people from across the world from who big things are expected in the year ahead. Niall is one of four Irish nationals included in this year’s list. He is joined by golfer Rory McIlroy and IT entrepreneurs John and Patrick Collison.
