Niall tackles Welsh rugby international (on Twitter)
What have Niall Horan and Rob Kearney got in common - they both got on the wrong side of hot-headed Welsh rugby international Mike Phillips at the weekend.
Niall may be better known for his love of soccer club Derby County but he was sufficiently unimpressed by Philips's last minute clash with Rob Kearney in Saturday's game to tweet about it.
"Mike Phillips is like a child throwing his toys out of his pram," Horan wrote. "His attitude is terrible, looks like a right arrogant idiot."
Phillips, who was sinbinned after the incident involving Kearney, took to Twitter to suggest that him and Niall meet up.
"Come down to training in the week big boy. Bring the rest of The Beatles with you."
Niall declined the offer saying that he only goes to watch "good rugby teams". The young singer also received a tweet from Rob Kearney saying that "he had his back."
While it was nice to see Kearney support his fellow Irishman, it seems as if Niall was doing all right on his own.
