Colman Buckley set to play Body and Soul!

Clonmellon’s Colman Buckley is ready to set the Midnight Circus stage alight at this year’s Body and Soul at Ballinlough Castle.

This Friday night, dj and music producer Colman will turn the tables alongside the likes of Glodfrapp and Caribou, taking to the Midnight Circus stage on Friday from 5pm - 7.30pm.

“I’m really excited about Body and Soul. I’ve played Belgium a couple of times this year already, and Dublin, but nothing as big as this,” says the 26-year-old who got his first set of turntables at the age of 13 and never looked back.

“I’ll be playing house and techno, it really depends on the weather, if it’s good I’ll be playing some funky house tunes,” Colman says.

“I’m particularly excited about it as this festival is on my home turf, so being local, hopefully I’ll see lots of people I know out there in the crowd,” continues Colman, who has been producing music at his home studio for the last five years.
“This will be a big learning experience for me, it will be a lot different hearing my music on a big festival sound system, but I’m definitely up for it.”
