We asked for your sunny pictures taken around Mullingar and you answered with some gorgeous scenic pictures. Why isn’t it sunny more often? We kicked it off yesterday with a snap taken at Mullingar Park while enjoying our lunch.

Yesterday reached 22 degrees with today pushing 25 degrees. Looking for sunny pictures our Facebook fans have captured in this grest weather, we received some shots that would makey you beg to differ we're actually from these fine lands.

Mark Bennett sent us a breath-taking picture taken Friday evening out at Lough Owel. David Casserly captured Lough Lane, Collinstown beautifully yesterday at sunset. Carmel Anderson took a great picture of swans at Lough Ennell enjoying her "Family Outing". Kathleen Elizabeth Scally sent us in the staggering image of the sunset over Lough Ennell yesterday evening. Brigid Walshe sneaked a peak at the sunset on the bog at Multyfarnham and Joe Kiernan got a shot of Lough Owel that looks more Malaga than Mullingar.
