Handsome double for James P
Streete jockey, James P Sullivan was in flying form yesterday when he scored a brace aboard King Torus in Doncaster and Royal Marskell in Leicester.
Ruth Carr’s King Torus was recording a third success on the trot and he was sent off 100/30 favourite and justified the punters’ faith wwith a two length victory.
The Streete pilot had to work a lot harder on the Alison Hutchinson trained Royal Marskell. The 7/1 shot was driven out to score by a head in Leicester.
Sullivan, who is enjoying quite a decent month in terms of returns, is facing into a busy week-end with mounts in Hamilton today, along with Newbury and Haydock tomorrow and Redcar on Sunday.
His best opportunity for a return to the winner’s enclosure could rest with Ruth Carr’s Head Space, which he won on in Doncaster eight days ago.
