The national tree huggers contest
Voting in the National Tree Huggers contest closes tomorrow, Friday October 31, and there are two Westmeath entrants.
They are Thomas Pakenham (details and voting here) and Israel Ilunga (details and voting here).
The website homepage is here.
This year, people and their favourite trees will take part in the contest where members of the public will vote on the one they most like.
The tree with the most votes will be Ireland’s nomination in the ‘European Tree of the Year 2015’ contest.
And, most importantly, your support will help Tree Planting and Development Education and Awareness Raising (DEAR) projects build a better world for everyone.
