Westmeath man wins quarter of a million euro
A delighted man from Westmeath collected a cheque for €250,000 today at National Lottery offices. He won the prize in the Lotto Plus 2 draw on Saturday November 15.
The winner, who wishes to remain private, bought his €6 Quick Pick winning ticket in Londis, Topaz Service Station, Athlone Road, Moate.
“I didn’t even think to check the ticket until I heard the shop had sold the winner,” said the man today as he picked up his prize.
Tomorrow night (Wednesday November 26) the Lotto jackpot is an estimated €2.5 million. Play in store or online before 7.40pm on Wednesday for your chance to win.
