Search for missing kinnegad man continues
The search for Michael Dillon, who has been missing from his home in Harristown, Kinnegad, since January 5 is continuing this morning close to Longwood.
Divers from Meath River Rescue and Boyne River Rescue have been in the water for the last two days, and are working alongside the gardaí, Civil Defence, relatives, friends and neighbours in the search for the 51-year-old.
There were five boats on the river this morning.
Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance as the search continues. There is a search co-ordination centre at Inchimore bridge.
Michael is described as being 6ft in height, large build with grey tightly cropped hair, pale complexion and blue eyes.
Michael was last seen at his home on the morning of January 5, and was wearing blue waterproof trousers and rigger boots.
