Staff in lockdown as armed soldiers police grounds of st lomans hospital

It is understood that members of St Loman's staff that came into contact with a "suspicious powder" found in an envelope today are in lockdown in an office within the building.

The Army Bomb Disposal unit has now arrived at the scene and armed soldiers are policing the grounds.

St Loman's Hospital had to be evacuated as an envelope containing a "suspicious powder" was discovered by a member of staff earlier today, Wednesday March 18.
