Would you like to know how to develop the children’s movement skills which are fun and easy to use?
If so, then why not attend a training day led by Sharon Drew and learn about the Smart Moves Motor Skills Development Programme and Take Ten for some practical ideas for fine motor skills and handwriting.
Sharon Drew is an international trainer and a well known author of many practical resources for professionals and parents in the UK. Smart Moves is especially designed for teachers, SNA’s, parents, O.T’s, other professionals and can be used by sports clubs and other extracurricular clubs. The resource contains a collection of games and activities for improving gross motor skills in a fun and accessible way. The activities are designed to require minimal preparation with little or no equipment and can be used in one-to-one, group or whole class situations. Parents may also find the activities and ideas useful to support their children at home.
This informative training day will offer participants the ability to:
-Explore a selection of gross motor games and ideas.
-Consider fun activities which can be used in the classroom to support fine motor skills.
-Offer ideas to develop resources for use in the school/home setting
This will be a practical hands on day…so come in comfortable clothing
