No major incidents at life festival
The annual Life festival, at Belvedere House and Gardens, passed off without major incident, according to gardaí.
While a number of people lodged complaints over the noise emanating from the event, nearby residents seemed largely unconderned.
The number of drug seizures at the three day event was on a par with previous years and a garda spokesperson said a number of revellers will face prosecution as a result.
Three people were taken into custody for public order breaches and three motorists stopped in the vicitnity of Belvedere were detained on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant.
The clean up operation after the festival is still underway at Belvedere, which reopened to the public yesterday, Tuesday.
