Tributes paid to mullingar woman who has died following motorbike accident

Tributes have been paid this afternoon to the Mullingar woman who has died following injuries received in a motorbike accident on Monday evening.

She has been named as Jhone Cunnane (39), Ashe Road, Mullingar.

Gardai have confirmed that Ms Cunnane died this morning at Beaumont hospital in Dublin.

The accident happened on the main Athlone/ Mullingar road (R390) at Baskin, a short distance from Drumraney and Ballymore.

Funeral arrangements have not been made yet.

Our sympathies are with the family and friends of the deceased.
