Weekend weather roundup reasonable

The weather outlook for this weekend can only be described in one word: reasonable!

While there's no heatwave on the charts we will be catching some glimpses of the sun, which is better than nothing we suppose.

The forecast for the midlands today, Friday, is showing up some extended sunny periods, with temperature highs reaching between 14 - 18 degrees.

Tomorrow, Saturday, will start out bright and dry and looks to be the best day of the weekend. However, it will cloud over later in the day, according to Met Éireann.

Rain will extend eastwards overnight, but should clear by Sunday morning. Highs of 15 - 18 degrees Celcius but expect showers and some heavy downpours throughout the day.

Looking into next week, again some sunshine is likely, but it will be cooler on average than is normal for this early in August.
