Radisson blu hotel for sale
The four-star Radisson Blu Hotel in Athlone has been put on the market and while no guide price has been indicated, market sources believe it is likely to trade in the region of €6.5 million.
The hotel is being offered for sale on the instructions of Kieran Wallace, KPMG, receiver to Earls Holdings Limited (In Receivership). It will be sold by private treaty.
The Radisson was first opened in 2004 and has become well established since then. It contains 128 bedrooms, conferencing and banqueting suites and a ballroom.
Also included is the Synergy Health and Leisure Club with a gym, sauna, steam room, 16.5m swimming pool and treatment rooms. There is also underground and surface private parking.
The hotel is located on the banks of the River Shannon.
It is being sold as a going concern. The current franchise agreement ends on December 31, thus providing potential purchasers with excellent flexibility to rebrand the hotel, if desired.
