Mullingars ashley tubridy sets sights on junior eurovision
Mullingar’s youngest rising star, Ashley Tubridy, has set her sights on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The 13-year-old St Finian’s student will feature in heat 2 of the competition which broadcasts at 8.30pm this Sunday night on TG4.
Ireland are entering the Junior Eurovision for the first time ever this year.
This will be broadcast live from Bulgaria on November 21.
Niamh Kavanagh, Brian Kennedy and Stiofán Ó Fearail are on the hunt for the voice and song to represent Ireland at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The televised heats began broadcast on the Sunday last October 11. There are children from all over the country singing on the show.
