Breaking: Traffic restrictions in place on N4 outside Mullingar

One person has been injured and taken to Tallaght Hospital following a single vehicle accident on the N4 Mullingar to Longford Road.

The accident occurred at 9am. Gardaí say a tree is down across the road.

Gardaí are on the scene and road traffic restrictions are in place.
