It's been snowing!

It’s been snowing in Mullingar.

They say no more snow is on the way after this – they predict that ‘wintry showers will continue across the northern half of the country, but it will become mostly dry with clear spells further south.

Lows of zero to minus 1 degrees with frost and some icy patches forming in sheltered inland areas, are forecast.

Currently the snow, though light, is for the meantime staying steady.
