The volunteers who will run the new TEAM (Temporary Emergency Accommodation in the Midlands) shop on Mount Street dressed in costume and handed out free ice cream during the official opening on Saturday week last.
The event had a Mad Hatter’s Ice Cream party theme.
Detty Cornally, volunteer shop manager, with Fr Robert McGivney, who blessed and officially opened the shop, which is next to Zaro. All funds raised go directly to Teach Fáilte, and no administration costs will be taken out. The shop is open six days a week, 10am-6pm.
