Seizure of Pups at Dublin Port
On September 2nd 2016 at approx 9.20am, as part of Operation C-Port, Gardaí stopped a van bound for England. During a search of the van, Gardaí discovered 5 Pomeranian puppies in a cage. The puppies were seized and handed over to the DSPCA as there was no valid documentation produced. The puppies will be quarantined and then placed for adoption. The van was seized for no insurance.
This is the third incident in recent weeks of seizures of puppies by Gardaí on Operation C-Port at Dublin Port.
