Power outage affects over 800 homes

 

Over 800 homes in Mullingar are currently without electricity.

ESB Networks has confirmed there is a “large” fault, and that power is unlikely to be restored until 23.45pm.

In total, some 825 houses are affected by the outage on the Athlone side of town.  The power went down at around 8.05pm.
