Dean of All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi to visit Mullingar

All Saints Church in Mullingar hosts a special visitor this weekend.

The Very Rev Sammy Wainaina, who is provost and Dean of All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi, Kenya, is making his first visit to Mullingar.

The dean is one of the most senior clergy in Kenya.

He will preach at a special service in All Saints on Sunday April 2 at 11am.

The cathedral sponsored the development of an Urban Renewal Housing project in Nairobi which All Saints Parish, Mullingar has supported for many years

The dean will be accompanied by Louise Gighire, who is the project leader.

“We very much look forward to their visit and we warmly invite everyone who would like to join us for the service,” Rev Alastair Graham.

After the service the young people in the parish will be organising a Lenten Lunch in All Saints and the proceeds will go the Urban Housing Project.
