Jobs on the way

A significant number of jobs are on the horizon for Mullingar.

The international firm SteriPack, which is headquartered in Ireland, but which has divisions in Poland, Malaysia and the US, has signalled its intention to open up in Mullingar.

A planning application has been lodged with Westmeath County Council for alterations to facilitate the development at the former Imperial Tobacco plant on the Dublin Road.
