There's something in the clouds
Bernie Reilly from Ardleigh Vale in Mullingar has sent us this photo of the Cathedral of Christ the King – with what resembles a face in the clouds above.
“I have taken a huge interest in photography these past few months – there are so many reasons why: you can see more than you have ever imagined, you don’t have to do it professionally,” says Bernie.
“That’s not what being a photographer means, it just means you really love doing photography. It’s like capturing memories that you can have forever.
“Photography definitely changes the way you see things. You begin to notice shapes, colours, people, animals, trees, flowers – everything around you looks different.
“I lose myself shooting at times and all my worries and daily stress just fade away.
“Even now when I go for a drive with my children they are pointing out things saying to me that would be a great photo to take, and it’s great that they can see things differently too.
“The photo of the cathedral was taken a few days back. The reason I took it was because I noticed a lot of chemtrails in the sky but I also noticed images appearing above the church, and a lot more people that saw the photo noticed also.
“I am still amazed at how it turned out so I said I’d share it with you.”
